Anyone that supports Petrino at this point, especially taking the other names mentioned into consideration, needs to loosen up on the chin strap a little. He doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as many of the others from a football standpoint alone.

I would be absolutely thrilled with Petersen or maybe Sumlin. What we need is a great coach, not necessarily a big name.

How would petrino have learned anything if Auburn were to hire him, his wife is still with him, so he didn't lose her, he didn't have a good reputation to begin with, so i doubt that he cares anything about what people say about him, and Auburn is a better job than Arkansas, so in essence, illegally using school money to hire his mistress to a position that she wasn't qualified for and getting caught would have done nothing but gotten him a year off and a better job... not really lesson learning material... a lesson would be having to go to a Southern Miss type school for a few years and work his way back up, and people fail to realize that hiring him holds the very real possibility of no top level coach wanting to be on his staff because he has a habbit of leaving jobs suddenly and unexpectedly either by his choice or directly because of his actions...
