Hopefully....I just like the SPSY (Sunshine Pumper Statement of the Year) by the coach with him saying he is "walking into a great situation" ....Sorry, but AU basketball is anything but a great situation at the moment. Hopefully Barbee can turn it around though.

“He’s a good, solid young man,” he said. “He’s going to be a low maintenance guy. He’s going to go to class and get his work done. We never had any issues with him off the court. He comes from a very good family and he’s very respectful.”
Why were we recruiting him? He won't fit it with our other players - oh yeah, I forgot, they are all gone.

His free throw percentage might be a little low but he has the requisite number of tatoos for a bb player.

I'd consider it a winning season if we could go from now to next March without any unusual roster changes!

Of the three major sports at auburn, football is about the only one to be excited about at this point. For a university this size and the type of budget it has for athletics this is simply unacceptable.

You are so right about that. I'm for giving Coach Barbee several more years if that's what it takes. I want him to succeed and I know it's going to take time to do it the right way. I mean, what's the alternative? But I'm going to reserve optimism until we actually see something on the court. It's been business as usual so far.

I really hate to admit it, but you are right. There is no better person than Jay Jacobs. I wish things would improve, especially for him.

Things are tough for Coach Barbee at the monment, and when things get tough, the tough get tougher. This is Barbee's second year as a head coach and he didn't enter a flawless program when he came here.
