Due to the recent flood of negativity, we've decided to institute a couple of changes going forward.
The Bodda Getta Forum will be for civil discussion about Auburn athletics and related subjects. Name-calling of any kind of anybody - players, coaches, other posters - will be immediately deleted. Civility will not only be requested but demanded. That doesn't mean people can't disagree, only that they must do it in a respectful and friendly way.
The Dye Hard Forum will be more free-wheeling. It will still be moderated for name-calling, profanity, etc., but will allow more spirited debate - even arguments if they don't get out of control. This board may be used for any and all topics as long as the conversation remains civil.

Interesting post, as I was just thinking a new board called "The Argument Board" might be in order.
Suggested guidelines ( somewhat but not totally tongue in cheek):
Paying members only get to post.
Paying members only get to read.
No holds barred as long as there are no low punches.
People not wanting to participate or read the stuff don't have to access at all and Phillip can do his job without having to be a room monitor.

I'm not sure why some of you keep blaming the free trials. 1% of users here are on free trials - and I rarely see them causing a problem. Everyone that is a member here was offered a free trial of some sort. Even the members that moved over from the old site were offered free time for merging their accounts.

Not my point. Unfortunately, I don't think the free trials are very much involved in the problem and I know you have the numbers.
My suggestions concerning "paying members access and post" have to do with people reading the negativity and using it to cast a bad light on Auburn University and the fan base.
