Chizik isn't stupid.....He knows what he's doing with DC/OC

I was told by multiple sources the past few days that Auburn already has their DC and OC but will not announce until after the BCS Championship game due to several reason and one being that our rival school is playing!! If LSU wins Auburn will announce their hires for DC(Stoops) and OC(Anderson) at the end of next week(Thurs-Fri) BUT if Alabama wins the BCS Championship then AUBURN WILL MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT FIRST THING TUESDAY MORNING to put a HUSH to the BCS buzz...........
Don't worry guys Chizik knows what he is doing!!!! WDE
Ofcourse we know Anderson has joined UNC so it should be interesting who we get at OC but i believe it is a lock for Stoops @ DC!!

Sorry, but I'm not buying this. I doubt that Coach Chizik factors in media "buzz" about other teams when making decisions. Also, I seriously doubt that who we hire as coordinators will affect the national media "buzz" about the winner of the championship game.

My Auburn alumni friends in Louisiana keep telling me that LSU alumni that they talk to on a daily basis tell them that they are worried that Ron Cooper is our next DC whether or not any of it is true remains to be seen

That's funny. I was told by multiple sources that Stoops was not our next DC and Anderson was not our next OC.

Stoops- Not going to happen. read back what has been posted please. When teh BOT says somehting it usualy means they KNOW somehting. And they are saying he is staying and has a brand new cntract with a raise. NOT COMMING TO AU!
Anderson-Has already accepted the job at UNC. As PM said once he accepted he would not be "Flipping" that commit!
Move on from the Stoops thing. PLEASE!

Stoops is not coming to au. Neither is Anderson. I am scared at this point who we hire. No on the job training candidates please

The only thing logical about waiting til after the BCS Championship would be if we were hiring Ron Cooper as our next DC. Chizik could care less about putting a "hush to the BCS buzz". Are you serious our Coach is Gene (I can keep a secret better than anyone) Chizik not Dabo (the white dancing bear) Swinney. He is going to hire the possible coordinators and that is all he cares about.

This sounds like an Updyke approach. It would be uncharacteristic for AU to even consider what the Updykes do or don't do when they decide on something.
