That's misquoted... He said the team wouldn't be together again. I took it as the Seniors were leaving and a new class coming in making it a new team. It made me stop and think when he said it though.

It doesn't sound like he was talking about seniors..

I would not read too much into that. "We'll never be together again...." After the bammer game when will they ever be together again as a team? There a number of them who will graduate. That same statement could have been made before the bcs game two years ago.
