IMO this entire coaching staff is character and integrity in action. I am looking forward to seeing what players {seniors, juniors, sophs, red shirt frosh, and freshmen) are ready to step up and put in the work it is going to take to bring AUTiger football back. Spring football is only a few weeks away and I am totally looking forward to watching what transpires. War Damn Eagle.

Very excited to have Craig back. I was so disappointed when he originally turned down the job. He is so popular with the kids and driven in his profession that i truly wanted him to bring that popularity and skill back to the plains. Needless to say i was a very sad little boy.... i was so sad that I didn't really believe the message board chatter about Gus making another run for Craig after the bowl game. I'm glad that I was wrong and I'm so happy now that I'm spinning outside like in The Sound of Music.

Help me. I have a memory of a Q'B in a bowl game with Clemson who was taunted by players saying ugly things. Bogged down most of the game, the Q'B ran for a critical fifrst and eventually won the game. Was that D. Craig?
The question of character is more inportant than one might think. It's not just behavior off the field in terms of staying out of head lines. It's things like, does this guy blame others when his own performance isn't the best he could show? Does he buckle down when it just looks like hopeless and time to give up. Sometimes that is hard to detect until put to the test, and it has been suspected that the 2012 team had some of that. What to do if it's still there? Does the examinaion of the 2012 team lead the urge for jc recruiting? What can you do when players have been recruited with a finish four years if recruited and signed on policy if the determination to succeed has left town? What happens when Malzahn has hit the scholarship limit and there are a bunch on scholarship that have just given up? Enjoying college with the brutal sacrifices football players have to make to keep playing may not appeal to some already immersed in it. Gus has recruited a great team of coaches in our opinions, but,.he may have problems that are not so easily solved and it may show in 2013. Best keep expectations rational remembering that fans don't see the inside of the program and the difficuties that may be encountoured. There was a lot of that going on in 2009, Chizik's first year.

If I were to name the thing that stood out most to me about QB Dameyune Craig as I watched him playing those years at Auburn, it would be
" He Refused to Lose".
He was tenacious ! It would look like we were down and there was no way out many different times and Dameyune would find one every time. He was amazing ! He was a leader and a Fighter and he found ways to win. Man it was fun to have him on the field.
