Yeah, dont rely on ESPN for news. They just report whatever they feel like reporting. Thats part of the reason our recruiting struggled this year. They spent the last 2 years spreading lies about us.

Right now they have us at #16 for 2012....and the site where we're posting these messages has us #17.

Last year they had us at #3 (Rivals #7, 247 #6).

In 2010 they had us at #4 (Rivals #4, 247 #6).

Their average rating of #3.5 the last two years is the highest of any rating out there.

And today they had some good things to say about us....on a day where not a whole lot went our way. Look at the screen shots (attached) of their Signing Day promo commercial on ESPNU. They showed about 5 or 6 guys putting on hats....two of them were Auburn. Look at Herbstreit's set behind him from today's ESPNU coverage....AU helmet behind him.

I just mention all that because it's really easy to slip into this false sense of "ESPN hates us" or "ESPN never respects us". It just isn't true the vast majority of the time.
