Good men and good coaches are going to lose their jobs. Chizik and all of the coaches and players of 2010 gave us a BCS National Championship! Yes, they had Cam and other good players, but it took all working together to pull it off.
They have been and are good Auburn men. Many mistakes have been the last two years, but no one was trying to destroy their own career. Good people and good coaches sometimes make bad decisions. This year things seemed to snowball, and no one could stop it.
Changes must be made, but show gratitude for the good things they have given us!

I'm OK with this. GGC has some good qualities (family man, he stood tall against the Cam speculations, stood by Cam throuhout all, supported other players as well when needed, kicked a few off that were not doing the right things, etc) but he did lose control of the team and coaches. So he must be held accountable. I wish he would resign and be done with it.
However, I feel sorry for the seniors. They committed 4 years and this season is their last taste; they deserved better leadership. Unfortunatley they will not get to start-over. Thank you Seniors. God Bless and good luck in your futures.

I am glad chizik was the coach because of thge national championship. So many good Auburn Men have come along but never delivered a championship. Yes this was the worst season i have ever seen. I don't want: we played hard and kept it close and still won 9-10 games. I want championships and we shouldn't settle for less. If that other school can do it, we can to! We need to look at a 9-10 win season as a failure because its not a championship, that's why bammers do win them, because their coach, team, and fanbase see anything other than a championship as a failure. We need to have that mentality, Auburn needs to have that mentality. That thinking is football culture!

I feel sorry for all the players who gave their best efforts in what has been an incredibly frustrating season for all involved. I also feel sorry for coaches and their families, but coaches do know that losing seasons and job changes are part of the career they have chosen. Fans are another thing altogether. Yes, I am very disappointed in this season. I sat in the stadium till the end of every game except the last when my wife was not feeling well. I cheered and clapped for the team and did my best to support them. That's the way Auburn fans I have known have been. We support the team through good and bad. And, I must admit, this has been the worst of my 45 years of attending AU games. But I love AUBURN, and Auburn Football.
As I said, changes must be made, but AUBURN people can still do it with CLASS and RESPECT.

Changes have to be made, but show appreciation for the good!
