I'm with you - I think if Malzahn can find a decent QB out of the three we have and the two (hopefully) we have coming in, 8 is realistically possible.

This is a fundamental issue with our fans-expectations which can be too high.
Last season I thought BVG would produce a top 20 defense and we would win 10+ games.
We didnt.
A 3 win season for a deeply divided team with a new HC and a 100% new staff. And we dont have a proven starting qb.
Might want to dial the back your expectation a notch or 2.
I am hoping for bowl elligibility, but could understand calling short.
Bama, uga, lsu,a&m are tough games. Mstate and ole miss arent pushovers. Tenn, arky & wazzoo will think they can beat us. The remaing games should be victories.

8 would be great. I think Gus can do it. These players are going to have to work their butts off to stay with Gus.

i agree. renewed confidence and enthusiasm with a new coach that brings a truckload of energy will go a long way.
