I swear... If Petrino goes to Auburn I will be selling Neck Collars and Blonde Wigs in the parking lot!

Sell them in the first half BEFORE he runs up the score on us. That way you won't look so silly making fun of their coach while we are getting drilled.

But we seriously need to troll Auburn boards and convince their internet fans that he's a bad get. And then convince Colorado that he's the best they'll ever have.

Sadly, quite a few people on here are more fans of Bobby Petrino than the Razorbacks.

I think Mike Tyson would beat the snot out of my sister if they got in a fistfight. Does that mean I am more a fan of Tyson than of my sister?

Bobby Petrino will be more focused on football than he ever has. For those of you pompous idiots that would like to challenge him, it will be a mistake. He's going to bring the thunder some where, hopefully it's not the SEC.

This is my worst nightmare. I guess Auburn just doesn't have the integrity that we could afford to have. Really nice job. It takes an uncanny set of ignorance to fire one of the best coaches in college football and then watch that said coach get hired by a division foe. Well done, sirs. If this does come to pass, Auburn fans will be laughing at us for years to come.

Here's what they're gonna get if they interview him. He's going to be the most contrite sucker on the planet.

From what I've heard he really has been cut to the quick. He's lost weight. Doesn't look good. Has started to believe he might not ever coach in the SEC again. If he gets a chance at Auburn look for him to move heaven and earth to get their football program back on track.

I seriously doubt there will be any more chicks on a motorcycle for Petrino.

God, I don't even want to think about it. If Auburn hires Petrino, we just have to hope his lack of recruiting translates over there so maybe he'll have to settle for a couple more 4*s than 5*s. He will be a threat immediately, and if he's somehow slow to get the ball rolling, our new coach has 'til the second year maximum to Petrino-proof our team, or the gore is going to be legendary.

Petrino will be a monster at Auburn, and there's nothing wrong with being objective or reasonable about it.

Yup I wouldn't be surprised in the least if that happens and once again Arkansas is stuck at the bottom for years to come. The state of Alabama will own us in football and we will be fortunate to beat the Mississippi schools.

Auburn wants to win so why would they give a care what the media thinks. I wish we weren't such sissies about such issues.

Yeah because if bobby can take 3 star players and become a top 10 team here i am sure he will fail with all those 4&5 stars that he'd get at auburn.

If Auburn hires BP, it will put even more pressure on Jeff Long to hit a home run. Personally, I think Long should be contacting BP.

Integrity isn't what caused this team to go 4-8 and a lack of integrity didn't cause us to go 11-2. Integrity is not and never was the issue - that's my point. Bobby acted like an idiot, he would agree with that statement. Bobby, acted like an idiot, put the UA in a dangerous legal situation and lost trust from his boss. He didn't lose his job over integrity.

They would be crazy not to. Petrino is one hell of a coach, and with the recruits they get there, they are gonna be hard to beat.

Petrino to Auburn makes so much sense. People love a redemption story and he will make a good one. He will come at the righ price and he will win at Auburn and they will have the feel good story of the year.

I agree and Auburn knows this. Auburn could also care less about perception. I also saw BP at a UAB practice and he looked like he lost A LOT of weight. He didn't look good at all. If he gets the Auburn job then people better sit up and take notice. You give him that talent and watch out.

Exactly my point. The Alabama/Auburn hate is such that defies concept. It is the Ultimate Rivalry. I was born in Arkansas and I love my Hogs.....but I've lived here in Alabama for almost seven years and this place in freakin' football crazy. If a coach stabbed somebody to death on Monday he would be forgiven immediately after the Iron Bowl....if he won. It is insane.

Yes....they are insane enough to hire Petrino.....and it would be a damned good hire in my opinion.

I don't weigh in on whether Bobby should have been fired or not, but I sure miss him on the sidelines. Heck of a football coach.

Petrino will be a home run hire for Auburn.

I was a fan of Bobby Petrino because of the way he brought our Razorback program to heights previously unreached in the BCS era. I fear it might be a while before we see a 10 win season again, with CBP it was becoming the norm.

If he ends up with the fertile recruiting grounds at auburn, with his pedigree, he can and most likely will. Beat your chest all you want folks. Most of you (and me) thought that the Paul's and jls would have little drop off this season. Make no mistake, a top coach makes all the difference in football. BP is a top 5 coach in the country.

Well at least we know if they do hire him, we'll be able to put at least 50 up on Auburn from here in out no matter who we get.

And you're basing that on what besides your blind negative opinion of him? Would it be the dozens of times his Hog team gave up 50 or more? (Try 3) Or are you extrapolating from the numerous times the other teams got close by scoring in the 40s? (Hhmm, that would a whopping 2 more games). I'm sure you wouldn't just make it up, since like all knowledgeable fans you realize the points per game allowed by his defenses decreased every year he led the Hogs. But don't let facts get in the way of your venom.

Bobby deserves to work, if it is Auburn it's Auburn. Game on and Jeff Long loses this one for a Long time. Petersen won't even slow BP down. Bobby is the Best Coach available out there today.
