Bryan,is this true .. walk on from Dwyer in PalmBeach Gardens

heard from TOS , Gage Batten , Scholar Athlete of the Year chose to walk on to play for Auburn , turning down scholarships to Harvard and Yale. He plans to double major in premed and business. GPA 3,75, Nat'l Honor Society, 390 hours community service with Health Evans foundation, Pathfinder nominee.
Post All Area first team, team captain 2011 . team captain 2010 at King's Academy. Led Dwyer in tackles 2011 and was play caller at MLB for areas most dominant defense. Helped team win Dist.13-7A Title and advanced to regional finals.
Isn't that patrick Miller's school. somebody else came from Dwyer but I can't remember who. want to say it was Blakeley.

That is great. He will be a tremendous addition. However, I could not have turned down a scholarship offer to either Harvard or Yale. If I was not a big time / elite player.

Oh yes... Harvard gives full scholarships to athletes. My son-in-law had a full ride for Lacross. $225K ride. not bad. This boy must love Auburn already.
