Bryan, Seems like their are more grade risks than usual this yr.

Are Auburn entrance requirements getting tougher or is Coach Malzahn just being more selective in who he takes than Chizik? Seems like their were a lot of guys that didn't qualify in Chiziks recruiting classes.

To be fair, after his first class in 2009, Chizik probably had fewer nonqualifiers than just about anyone in the SEC.

There were not many non-qualifiers at all in Chizik's classes and I don't see any more grade risks this year than years before.

I am glad you brought that up. I think that fact gets lost in all of the statistics that get thrown around about the attrition in Chizik's signing classes. Only about half of his first class made it in but from then on he was getting kids that qualified.

Being there are MORE grade risk players this year, that would mean Gus is being LESS selective than Chizik.....
