Not Bryan, but if you look at the recruiting rankings, the top teams (which also generally seem to be the teams competing for championships) have considerably more 4* recruits than 3* - typically about 2 to 1. The second tier (where Auburn is currently) have considerably more 3* than 4* recruits. If you look at the teams in this group, they are generally competitive but don't win championships. As you go lower, the teams have almost no 4* players. Of course, there is no science here and this is just a snapshot in time. My personal opinion is that when Auburn reaches the point where we tip the scales and begin signing more 4* than 3* recruits on a recurring basis, we will be back in the championship hunt regularly.
