If I remember correctly, the AU coaches didn't know about Corey Lemonier until his televised announcement. I remember the video of them all standing in a hallway or something watching a flat screen and cheering loudly when he put on the AU cap.
Either that or they did know but were exceedingly excited to get the public confirmation.
