They're just going off the old story from AJC and not doing their homework. The AJC should have printed a retraction. Their story was incorrect and ESPN is just as irresponsible by parroting it.

They do this because it works. The classic example is the obama regime; spread lies long enough and they magically change to "facts."
Until the Cam fracas I was a big fan of AU remaining out of the swine pen with the press; we were "above" this trashy behavior. I now believe that this standard of honor has painted a target on our backs. Let us gain 1 or 2 additional 5-stars and the barbarians will enter the gates.
