Don't forget....Cecil Newton did ask for money...whether directly or indirectly through Kenny Rogers. The REC didn't make that up. They didn't create that story from thin air. What role anyone in Tuscaloosa or Starkeville or Gainesville might have played in getting word around is debatable.

But if Cecil Newton doesn't get involved with Kenny Rogers and Mississippi State boosters, the Bammers have nothing to spread except the lice on the heads of their unwashed children.

I don't know what they do and don't do, but I do feel like we, as a fan base, point the finger at the "REC" far too often for anything negative or critical that happens with Auburn. Again, they didn't hold a gun to Cecil's head. If they helped spread the story around, that's our (Cecil) own fault for giving them something to spread.

If we stay clean, we won't have too much to worry about.

I am not the delusioned one. you guys crack me up, the very idea that somehow they are now shaking in their boots.....not even Leno or Letterman could top that for comedy.
