I just watched the Bo Jackson 30 for 30 again. For the 3rd time... I was born in 1980. Unfortunately, I was too young to remember "watching" all of Bo's ridiculous plays. The best athelete of all time. The only play I can remember watching was the homerun in the all-star game, 1st player at bat.... I envy you guys that were of this time... That were able to watch this super-human break records, run a 4.12 40 yd dash, hit massive homeruns and throw Reynolds out from the track on no hops and run up the wall in the outfield like no one has ever done before... and like no one has ever attempted since (I used to pratice that at my house in Trussville, almost perfected it)... Treasure those memories AU nation, I just wish I could remember more... and I wish I was there.

I haven't seen the special, but I can tell you it was so special when Bo scored to beat Bama in 1982. I was a senior in high school and this was the first time that Auburn beat Alabama since I became an AU fan. I still get tears in my eyes when I see the play. Just watch the stands, the reactions...people were happy, celebrating, joyous. The Alabama curse had been broken.
I just regret that Auburn didn't win a NC while Bo played at Auburn.
P.S. One other thing about Bo and the athletes of that time. These guys stayed in school for 4 years and I greatly respect them for it.
