Best comebacks to roll tide?

I encountered a 60 year old updyke as I was leaving a restaurant and of course she hollered roll tide when she saw my AU shirt. I replied War Eagle and then said "bless your heart" as I looked at her t-shirt she was speechless after that. As most of you who have lived in the south as long as I have know it's is OK to say anything you want about someone as long as you say "Bless their (your) heart" before or after it. Ex: Bless her heart She's so stupid she's a bama fan.

I usually go with the blank stare. Just a completely emotionless look. Of course the disgust always peeks through right around my eyes but I try to simply stare like I am seeing something that is totally unexplainable.

I usually reply... 'please dont use that kind of language in front of my children, I'm TRYING to raise them right!'

That is pretty much my approach if they are being obnoxious. If they just say Roll Tide I just ignore it.

"Awe, you must not have been accepted into Shelton State Community College. Hang in there...maybe next year"......or something to that affect.
