After retiring 12 straight, Justin Camp issues a two-out walk in the sixth and is done. Left-hander Conner Kendrick is on to pitch for Auburn. He picks the runner off first. The Tigers lead 6-5 coming to bat in the sixth.

Auburn's Ryan Tella drives a single to center to score Dan Glevenyak, who doubled, and chase Indiana State starter Jeff Degano. The Tigers are up 6-5 with one out in the fourth.

Ryan Tella's two-run double in the bottom of the second pulls Auburn even at 5-5. The Tigers missed an opportunity to score more, leaving two on.

Auburn jumped to a 3-0 first-inning lead with the help of three Indiana State errors and a balk. The Sycamores, with the help of a walk, a hit batter and a balk by Auburn starter Rocky McCord, scored five in the top of the second to take a 5-3 lead, McCord did not make it out of the second, leaving with two outs and a runner on second. Justin Camp gave up a hit and got out of the inning. Indiana state leads 5-3 with Auburn coming to bat in the bottom of the second.
