Barrett Trotter (The Spirit) (high/low)?

  • Barrett appears to be playing the game with a cloud over his head. The coaches and most fans have declared next season's QB as K. Frazier. How would you like it if someone gave you an old house, told you to make repairs to it, give it curb appeal, and once it is looking like a show piece, they tell you, we are going to give it to someone else to live in? Barrett is talking the media talk, but he is not playing with much self-belief. His spirit looks to be pretty low. The QB is the spirit of the offense, and if he does not stop having a pity party for himself, his spirit will never rise nor will the offense succeed. How can he expect to keep the keys to the offense when he is playing so drab? Barrett has to take ownership of this team and make Frazier take the keys form him and not just give the keys to Frazier. All of that said, the first quarter will be either the beginning or the end of the spirit of Auburn's offense. It will be the difference in 10-2 and 6-6. If Barrett does not step up with in the first quarter, he will be handing the keys to Frazier, and a new era will officially begin.

  • You must have heard some sort of announcement the rest of us haven't heard. Could you share a link where the coaches said that Frazier will be the starter next year? I missed that one.

Dude is getting ignored so hard that he had to reply to his own topic to keep it relevant. Hahahaha

Although the coaches did not come out and say Frazier would be the starter next year, they did say in Auburn's episode of The Year of the Quarterback that Frazier was the most talented of the three but that didn't have enough knowledge of the playbook. However, give him a year with Coach Yox and a year learning the playbook and you can surmise that he will make a run at the starting job.

I thought Trotter looked real good on the sidelines with the placards Saturday night. He is in no way a div. 1 quarterback. Finally it got so bad the coaches had to make a change.I hope we can move forward now with our two real quarterbacks Frazier and Moseley. I hope trotter can transfer to a good div. 2 school where he could be someone elses backup quarterback.

    Troll!

  • Trotter has his degree I dont think he would transfer. He might just give up his last yr of eligibility and go to work or he could join the occupy wall street bunch and not work .
