Good post. BB isn't a game of numbers as much as it is quality. Barbee will get better intensity down the road, and he is handicapped with too much youth this year. It is what it is and he will have to try to get a better effort. I'm convienced he knows what he's doing. Just as in FB, you have to have the horses before you win many races. It matters how hard you whip them, sometimes.

I'm a student at Auburn and got there Barbee's first year and have attended every home game. I think we are MUCH more improved here in year 3 than we were then. I believe the process has been slow, but we're headed in the right direction. I don't put all the blame on Barbee though. Or Jacobs. And i'm happy to see that you don't. I think he is setting the foundation for us to have an impressive next few years. Plus we still have SEC play; this year we could see the post season as well.

Give credit to Winthrop. They aren't bad, and everyone knew that coming into this game. Auburn basketball should never receive the benefit of doubt.

It's all a learning experience, Auburn will be competing for the SEC championship within 2 years. If not then we can say Barbee has had his time but until then be patient
