If you have to ask why I love Auburn so much...never mind
Good friends are hard to find. Enjoy every moment you have with them.
well i have the same issue and i always seem to catch grief but you know i took a lesson that i was taught when i was a kid and that is sometimes its best to turn the other cheek and walk away. so now its not bad i guess because even though it tears me up inside i act like it doesnt bother me and just like a bammer if they cant stir the pot then its not fun and they give up on mouth running just remember though when auburn beats bama dont go running your mouth.

ONE PRETTY FAIR SOLUTION: Always comment about "Spanky" and never refer to that team, etc., as other than "the updykes." Then laugh....and watch it choke down their throats. This is like saying, "I'm sorry you feel that way." It is a come back to anything and cannot be taken any farther. Basically, it's a mouth shutter.
Of course pointing out that living in the past under houndstooth hats only pleases those who are too afraid to handle the present and future. Spanky ain't Bear Bryant and Updyke U. is not "mama" to him. He isn't going to retire there and is already past due for a case of happy feet.
AND they have not beaten LSU this year as of this date in time.
Plus we at AU have something they will never know and that is Auburn and the true togetherness it brings. They don't have it and never will.
Dyin' ain't much of a living, boy - you know who
Just call them updykes that gets to them more than anything.
