That's been message board fodder for weeks on end. I don't buy it. That's saying that a message board geek on a rival team's board can investigate better than the NCAA and FBI.

And doesn't anybody else think that well know football players going to the dog track would have been reported by one of the hundreds of people that would see them? Players can barely sneeze without a rival writing about it.

Its just creative recruiting...

Some are saying that its only dirt to level the field and painting lockers. I have heard that this is not a school that hurts for money though. Opinions abound on the facts and how to look at the "gift."

The more that you keep bringing it up and helping to keep it out there for discussion, the longer it will continue to "get louder". Why can't we AU people JUST SAY NO? NO to internet rumor spreading. NO to calling radio shows to 'defend Auburn'. If you don't like what Brando or Finebaum or any other idiot has to say about us, turn the station. The longer we choose to participate the longer it will be relevant.

Pretty sure I recall AUfan89 posting some other comments before that reeked of "troll." I could be mistaken, though.
