BM/PM Trey Johnson

  • How do y'all feel about Johnson's commitment after Foster commiting? I think him not commenting on Fosters commitment and what his coach had to say just seemed to make me feel a little uneasy I guess. Do you see that affecting any of the other LBs we have commited as well? TIA

It's not that he wasn't commenting, I just couldn't reach him last night. Trey has planned to visit other schools from the start so he'll be one to keep an eye on throughout the process. Trey is planning to come to Auburn's camp Saturday so I'll probably talk to him there.

The other LB's were quoted in the story and seemed pretty pleased about adding Foster.

I thought I read where the coach talked to him and pretty much made a comment on his behalf. I am pretty sure BVG is going to use both of them.

  • Most of these kids want to play together. They want to be a part of big time, high profile signing classes, even if they are low-key in their personality. It wouldn't be unheard of if he went somewhere else, but I'll continue to believe in this staff, as they are continuing to line up on the recruiting trail and go head-to-head with ANY/EVERYBODY!

BM/PM - I know that Lawson did, but didn't Trey also predict the eventual commitment/signing of Foster and Adams, when he was interviewed at 'The Opening'?

I would like to know his thoughts on his preferred position to play in college and what he thinks about CBVG planning to play him at Will in stead of Mike.
