I am pretty sure Trooper let REUBEN know about being let go.
I imagine Trooper will use his ability to potentially influence a few prospects to enhance his perceived value to another program. It is really the only play he has at this point. He is trying to find a job, which any newly unemployed person would do, just in a way that could effect us.
Let's go easy on Foster. I didn't know $#!¥ when I was 18. Did any of us? He's young, it happens all the time, these kinds of bumps in recruiting.
Recruiting is not a sprint, it's a marathon.
I have trusted Gus to do the right thing, and he has so far. The depth and breadth of changes being implemented cannot come without some loss or pain. We are seeing the rebirth of the Auburn Football and must bear the labor pains until the process is complete.
