BM ? About unhappy players

  • On sports call today you talked about losing the players. In a thread on this board you mentioned lots of unhappy players. I don't doubt anything you said. I think it's obvious to all that the morale and chemistry of this team are close to nonexistent. Why is that when the coaches are interviewed and even several of the players, they act like they are unified with good team spirit and lots of energy and excitement. I'd rather not hear an interview from any of those guys if it's not sincere. Trust me, we have all heard more than our fair share of coach speak since GC arrived. But this is getting ridiculous to constantly here the same old statements about working hard, good practices, lots of energy and effort, desire to get better , etc.
You obviously have a totally different perspective. Why are coaches and players spending so much time acting like all is well?

I said "some unhappy players." There are unhappy players on every team but things get magnified when you're losing. As far as interviews go, Auburn is not going to trot out any unhappy players for interviews so we get what we get. Sammie Coates had some interesting things to say last week.
