  • Phillip, while I still love watching the game, I can't get over the fact that the women's game lacks a Ten second rule. To me this seems like a rule that in today's game wouldn't be that difficult to add or adjust to. Also, from an Auburn fan's perspective it would make Auburn's press even more effective! Have you ever heard a rationale for this being the case besides, "That's been the rule for a really long time"?

    Only rationale I have ever heard is that, since they have a 30-second clock, it's not needed.

  • I am ashamed to say that tonight was the first women's game we attended all season. Not ashamed because we went, but ashamed that we hadn't gone before. We just never took the time to make the hour's drive. We saw a great effort by our ladies and a great result. You know that things are going great when Blanche is held scoreless in the first half and everyone is taking up the slack, even to the point of her smiling when she missed. Great ovation from us FEW fans when she scored. Congratulations and good luck!

    When do we play next? At AU?

    Play the winner of Thursday's game between ECU and Western Kentucky. Site is TBD. Probably play Sunday, but that's not certain either.

    The crowds have been relatively good this season. I hope that there will be another round held in Auburn and that the crowd is larger when/if that takes place. I think the NIT shoots itself in the foot somewhat though by nothing being known with much advance notice. I'm a season ticket holder, yet only knew that there would be a Wednesday game on Monday afternoon. It wasn't until Tuesday morning that we knew what time Wednesday evening. War Eagle~!
