they're perhaps one of the worst shooting teams i've ever seen........my 6 year olds team can hit open jumpers better than these guys

Since the South Carolina game ended(on January 12, 2013), Auburn's Men's Wheelchair Basketball Team has MORE WINS than the Men's Basketball Team!!! As a member of the Wheelchair team, I readily admit we aren't very good either!

Barbee tells on himself quite a bit. So, he doesn't do much coaching on offense, and offense is our worst area. Imagine that. This man is not a good coach, period. He is a decent, at best, recruiter. Get ready for more of the same next year, when Barbee will be fired. Then we will be lectured on how to be patient for a few years until the coach rebuilds the mess Barbee leaves behind. It takes time and patience, we will be told. Why don't some of you, who have defended Barbee as if he was the second coming, remind us how great of a coach he is? We are needing extra sunshine during this dark, dark period in Auburn basketball!

Phillip, we want to believe like you, but really, which team in the SEC fears playing Auburn in football, basketball, or football? Every SEC team can look at the schedule and count Auburn in their win column. Auburn, on the other hand, cannot look at any SEC team in the big 3 sports and predict a win. It that is not the definition of "doormat", then I don't know what is. It pains me to face the truth, but I refuse to be like Alabama and pretend that the loses don't count. Auburn has exceptional fans and supporters who are loyal through the good and bad years, but there is a point where even the dyehards will lose interest. There are many of us who feel like Coach Barbee. He feels like everyone is trying hard, but nothing is working. Auburn has lost it's mojo, and we all want to get it back. All said, that doesn't mean that we don't all love Auburn. We just need to be real. Thanks, Phillip and company for all your good articles. We know that this all hurts you as badly as anyone. Let's see....pretty much every sport has suffered while JJ has been the AD. Seems to me that the problem lies there.

We are bad, but our fan base on this board is horrible...All I heard was fire Lebo, now all I hear is fire Barbee and Jacobs, and Gouge and the floor sweeper!!!

If you want to believe that one losing season in football, two years after winning the national championship, means Auburn is the worst program in the SEC, have at it. Having the worst team in a given season and the worst program are not the same thing.
