Auburns biggest nemesis...

  • Steve Savarese. The day he became head of AHSAA was a very bad day for Auburn. For those that don't know or remember, he is a huge bammer and flipped Cornelius Bennett to uat when he was head coach at Ensley. Kept T.O. from getting an offer from Auburn while at Ben Russell. There have been other handprints of his over the years. Stuff that will make u sick. Well, he was also the prior head coach at Daphne and is good friends with the current head coach.

    T.O was hardly an athlete in high school. I don't blame Savarese for not allowing him to recieve an offer from Auburn. The Auburn coaches evaluated him just like any other recruiting prospect, and they found that he was not worthy of an offer. It's not some conspiracy theory.

    I spoke to someone today and mentioned this post. He said this is not true at all, and furthermore said Steve isn't even an alabama fan. Said he was one of the finest and most honest guys he knows. The guy I'm talking is a big Auburn fan.
    TIFWIW. Just passing it along. I do not know Savarese.

    Been knowing T.O. since he was an 8th grader and he was the 2nd best athlete in the school to Cedric Kendrick who was a world class sprinter. You weren't there for yet another Savarese early round loss where Terrell showed out. Savarese was the worst coach I've ever seen in promoting a player that wasn't on bammer's watch list. Scott Bolt got promoted out the wazoo - guess where he signed. 7 posts and a defender of Lord Savarese? Uh, I can smell what the Perv is cooking...

    Ask your friend why a non-uat fan had an office full of uat memorabilia at ben russell. If your friend thinks Savarese is honest, he's gotten snowed big-time. Tell him to give Joe Whitt senior a call. The Atlas Herrion debacle at Daphne was sickening. Wonder where ol Atlas signed after being flipped?
