I hate to say it, but it seems as though we are seriously reaching! This has unfortunately been the ways of Auburn basketball for many years. My hopes for turning the corner have all but diminished!

I don't think at this late stage, we were going to get a McDonalds All-American power forward. We just need this guy to come in and provide depth, rebounding and put backs. I feel like the rest of the recruiting class has a chance to be special. Lets stay positive and let this play out.

My only problem is I don't remember hearing his name mentioned in the JC guys we have been courting. I does sound like we are settling, after the other two main guys apparently went somewhere else. I have not actually read that the other two did not choose AU, and assuming can be dangerous, but we don't seem to hear when we DON'T get the guys we want.

People are not whining because of one player, our total basketball program sux, and this kid is just a continuation of that. We are spinning our wheels. Our team is no better today than it was 3 years ago, that is pitiful. We have a long, long way to go to be a mediocre SEC team. For all the Barbbee lovers, it hasn't quite gone as well as planned eh?

I would like to welcome him to our program. I'm not going to give up on our basketball team. Granted we've hit some rough patches recently with the attrition, but I believe in Auburn and love it!
