Seriously, how are long snappers recruited? I get they are not offered scholarships (except back when Dax Dallenbach was offered). How are they evaluated? Camps?

Yes, they're evaluated in camps and Auburn also uses services like Kohl's Kicking Academy to narrow down their targets. Most are recruited as invited walk-ons with the opportunity of earning a scholarship if they win the starting job.

Bryan do you think that the problems the DL has had in the middle with penetration and technique will hurt us in trying to get Montravius Adams and keeping our Dee Liner and Carl Lawson commitments??

Actually, it might help as they see a better opportunity for early playing time. If you go an watch Mike Pelton's interview, I think you'll see he's confident that this DL will start picking it up and executing better as the season goes on...
