I remember when going to the JUCO ranks was taboo for a major program, but wow how times have changed. The level of competition has gotten so much better, that those kids can come in to any top program and contribute immediately. It is such a win-win for everyone involves IMO. You get kids that have at least had some college-life experience and have been in a weight room for a couple years, and that allows a D1 program to redshirt some high school talent and build much needed depth

With us recuiting so many players, especially defensive ones from Hutchinson CC, I was curious about how good was this teams defense? Were they that dominant? If so, good. If not, what is the angle here? I know we have some depth issues but JC players are a quick fix and you fall right back into the depth problem again. War Eagle!!
