Bryan, it's been reported elsewhere that it was JB Grimes that visited him and watched his basketball game last night (Friday). If true, wouldn't that give some insight into where AU sees this guy playing in the future. My theory is Grimes was given 2 spots and is going after Golson and Cothren. Maybe I'm wrong. Thanks, WDE

Good recruit or not, why is it important that his offer is made public? I think it says a lot about our chances for Adams, Liner, and Bower. Less than zero. He is a project at the very best IMO. Hope I am wrong.

Personally, I think, having signed the OL we have the last year or so, and with Danzey coming in, adding an immediate starter or contributor, that we have the luxury of adding a 6-5 270 4.9 guy with good athleticism and upside, who would get bigger and develop with a redshirt year. "Take"as an OL. If we're strictly talking about DT, I would completely agree with you.

Could be. Auburn only plans to sign one more OL in this class.

Glass half full or half empty eagleson? I may be wrong but I thought everyone on this board was eager for recruiting information thus Bryan's post on this young man. I am not sure how "public" this information is but to draw conclusions when our new coaches are out looking to find the best players to fill the many gaps we have on our team does not necessarily mean anything other than what it is. I truly appreciate every nugget of info Bryan provides and greatly appreciate his tireless efforts. Thanks Bryan and War Eagle!

4.9 is great for his size in the 40 auburn is using him on the line not coverage if he gets faster at his size good if not he should be fine on the line at 4.9

watching the NFL combine the last 3 years tells me just how rare a big guy running a sub 5 time is. Granted, I use to buy Forrest Davis info. and thought 4.7 was standard fare for a big guy, what a joke!
