Auburn needs to go back to being Auburn...

  • Auburn needs to go back to being Auburn, and by that I mean we need to get rid of the "Trooper's" within our program. The Auburn that I know is the one who recruits hard working, high character kids that want to wear the Orange and Blue!

I'm done with recruiting "rankings", time and time again we've been burned by "4 and 5 stars". Let's face the facts, what has Trooper Taylor sold all these "highly" rated 5* on? "Come to Auburn, we're family, we take care of family, sign here and you'll be a part of our family". I hate to break it to you, but it takes more than signing a piece of paper to be part of the Auburn family...

We need to get back to being Auburn, and that Auburn team is not won with "paper" rankings. It's won through hard work, with kids that might of flown under the recruiting radar... i.e. Jonathan Wallace.

I find racial undertones in your comments. I can't stand it when individuals so easily find CHARACTER ISSUES around every problem. These guys are just poorly coached or more correctly running a NO WHERE OFFENSE. The defense is clearly three things. No Linebackers, Poorly coached DL and soft coverage all wrapped up in three and a half years of neglect by CGC.

Racial undertones? Did I not compliment J Wallace?

My point is what has been the selling point of our program under Troopers guidance? We are reaping what he has sewn. And that is a team full of guys that would rather compete in Pie eating contest instead of working hard to become better players. I'll be glad when the days of "big cat prowls" and "big cat weekends" are over... I guess I'm one of the few who thinks that could be part of our problem.
