I really like all the somewhat experienced new blood coming in on defense. The defense needs a new mindset on how things are supposed to happen. When we lost the aggressiveness of Fairley, Bynes, Stevens and Etheridge, we lost what little bit of connection there was to Auburn defense as I think of it.

Couldn't agree more. I like what the staff is doing, big time. The one thing I'm uneasy about is getting enough quality LB's in this class. We need all the help we can get there.
It shouldn't affect Rueben, I don't think. If he were to go to our state rival, he would have even more competition when fighting for a starting gig...

f he's a solid playmaker, bring him on. Foster aint on board yet, and it would be foolish to count on him. We need to start collecting wins, not players with stars, and Flowers can help us do that immediately.
