Sophomore catcher Blake Austin was named SEC Player of the Week after hitting .643 (9-of-14) with two doubles, one homerun and 10 RBI. He also threw out two base runners.
Great for Blake. His cousin (female) plays golf with my daughter. I, also, met his grandparents at a golf match. Big Auburn fans who could not be prouder of Blake and their granddaughter who plays golf. Great family.
