Auburn beats Tennessee 12-3...

  • Auburn wins 12-3. Koger (3-4) gets win allowing two unearned runs on three hits in 5.2 innings. Cory Luckie picks up his first save of the season pitching the final 3.1 innings. Cullen Wacker had four hits and Dan Glevenyak and Blake Austin each had 3 RBI.

    Tennessee picks up a run in the 8th on two hits but trails Auburn 12-3.

    A solo HR by Zach Alvord over the Green Monster in left gives Auburn a 12-2 lead.

    A single by Blake Austin drives in two. Auburn takes an 11-2 lead with no outs in bot 6th.

    Luckie walks the bases loaded and then strikes out Jared Allen to end the threat. Auburn leads 9-2.

    Daniel Koger leaves in the top 6th with two outs and runners on 2nd and 3rd. Cory Luckie comes in. Tigers still on top 9-2.

  • We need to sweep to offset being swept last weekend. If we win tomorrow, we will only
    be one game under .500 in the SEC race. Hopefully, we can do well in the remaining
    series.
