  • Why are we having to hear about this "breaking story about AU being investigated" yet when we come to "our guys" for the jist of it all it isn't even being addressed yet? I don't care to go to their site and read their propaganda, I want to know what it means to us. I guess 'if a story breaks in the woods and nobody writes about it, then maybe it didn't happen', if you follow. We longtime readers count on you guys to tell us what it means to Auburn, aside from the hoopla that goes with all the mainstream media and their "Oh Andy it's big...BIG!" spin when it comes to us.

    Not sure what you're referring to. We linked the Yahoo and al.com stories on board as soon as they were put up. Phillip already has a Q&A up and quotes from Chizik.

  • I predict this entire board will look very different in a few weeks or less. A lot depends on who we bring in a great new HC may allow us to keep most of the top recruits. However, with the recent new stories about NCAA investigations it may now be extremely difficult to get the HR hire we had hoped who would right our ship. One just has to wonder why the news stories broke exactly now because most all of it is old news. Did someone at UAT or other school plant these suspicions? Seems like the media mafia won't give up their hair-trigger reflexes trying to bury us in response to any hearsay or leaked "info" out there as if they can't get over Cam and obsessively still want us to pay. Again, why right now?????

  • I was reading somewhere that there is a clause in the contract we have with chizik that if he is under investigation for wrong doings then his pay is suspended and we dont have to pay him during those months if we let him go.... so could honestly be us.... just a rumor though.
