I got your back Duck. We need them both. If CGC and CBVG would stop being so hard headed and give EF some PT then EF will be here contributing in a great way. If not he won't be the only player leaving. I will continue to speculate on CGC and CBVG ability to develop 4 and 5 star players until I see drastic improvement in the DBfield. RT, EF, KF should be in the rotation IMO and I don't want to hear this "They need to learn the system" BS either.
If CGC is going to throw this season away to install his system, then he needs to develop the talent he has on campus instead of continuing to frustrate them.

I agree with the poster above. We need Tray badly. The kid would no doubt be starting his sophomore year, if not his freshman year.

I am concerned about what has happened with Robinson and Florence too. At this point, however, it is impossible for a fan to know what is really going on. There are several obvious possibilities. One is that the coaches are being unreasonable and arbitrary and overbearing on our players. That is apparently what many fans select as the first choice every time there is an issue, especially when we are losing games like now. But it is also possible that the coaches, who hopefully know what is going on and what it takes to be successful, just haven't seen the requisite level of effort by the player, and that a player is just not ever going to play until he gives that effort in practice. Most of these glamour players are used to hearing how great they are, so when things get tough, some can't accept that their attitude might be the problem. There is also the possibility that the player is violating team rules or policies, which is what the rumor mill says about florence. There is also the possibility that a particular player was overrated as a recruit and just doesn't measure up. This one is on the coaches, however, since they are the talent scouts. I hope these issues get fixed soon, because we are on a slippery slope and really need some good things to happen to solidify the fan base again. It seems now that many of our fans are looking for things to lay on the coaches to rationalize the bad season we are having.

Our LBs are the problem on Defense, if your LBs can't tackle and make plays against crossing routes, which gets us killed we are going to struggle. They give maximum effort, but it just isn't enough. We lost A LOT of recruits that didn't want to 1) play for roof or 2) didn't want to support a fast paced offense. Either way we are struggling at that position. That is the only one we haven't really seen a splash in as far as recruiting... until now. Amazing the first year BVG is here we have one of the best LB and DL classes in the nation coming in. I still look for Frost and CM to move to starting soon, hopefully after the off week.

Yeah, lets just let florence have more playing time. Why should we expect him to attend team meetings and follow the rules? As long as he wants more playing time we should let him play however much he likes. and when he gets tired or beat, we should just let him take himself out of the game. Yes I'm being sarcastic, but do ya'll realize how this sounds when you say some of this stuff?

Bryan, any word on Derrick Greens visit to UT went?

BM: Does anyone know why UCLA pulled his offer? Must be a reason. Just wondering.
