The problem is he quit at FSU and he has quit once at AU the odds are not in his favor. If everyone gets in in August I think we would have 80 on scolly.

It would be at least a year before he's eligible to earn a scholarship. It would count against 85, not 25.

Thanks for the replies. I was hoping that if he came in and performed well this spring that they could put him back on scholarship without it counting against our 25 for this season. I guess that is not possible, so that seems to set the bar pretty high for him; he will have to do well enough to be considered worthy of the final spot in this year's class.

Wasn't PPL out of school for 2 semesters, and then able to come back under scholarship without waiting? Can someone explain the difference in these 2 cases? I thought I understood the 25/85 rules pretty well, but it gets confusing when applied to cases like this.
