Brian, what do you think about The Armsteads' visiting this weekend? Obviously it's a great thing to have them on campus at all but do you believe that the timing is positive or negative? I can see how it could possibly hurt us because they would have a lot of traveling to do to visit, go home and announce at his church (that's what I've heard is the plan), pack their stuff, fly back to Auburn, and be in class by Tuesday. It kind of seems unrealistic even though I really want both of these guys. I can also see how it would be a positive thing because this visit will be fresh on their minds leading up to their announcement Sunday or Monday. If they could start school later in the week then I wouldn't really be worried, is that a possibility?

What if (and this is just a theory) Chizik and Co. having visited Arik in over 5 times at his home has convinced him and the family that Auburn is the correct choice. Arik wants to attend Auburn but the family says that, because Arik hasn't ever visited the campus that he needs to visit before its too late to back out and be sure of his choice. The decide to take an official and the dad comes with just to make sure his son is making the right choice. So the official visit is just to ensure Arik is making the right choice (a choice that has already been made).
