Heard that a couple of weeks ago. Tried to but no one could verify. Heard that he had had his undergrad degree and was taking some grad courses this past fall and didn't do too well. I understand the athletic dept. is appealing to the SEC since he had already graduated. HOPEFULLY IT"S JUST A RUMOR, if not, hope it will turn out OK. Also heard about a D lineman in the rotation, not a starter, that may be ineligible .. but not dropping names...may not be true. I'm sure PM will let us know if this is all true when the any new comes out. But, it does seem that every bowl game we play in...someone is ineligible due to grades...just sayin...A couple of other SEC teams, LSU and GA have already had some academic issues...

Unfortunately, this sounds like a more legitimate concern (meaning makes sense)--hopefully it can fall into his favor and all will be okay. Hopefully, there is nothing to it at all.

I don't believe you can practice if you are ineligible.
At best, we'll learn about any academic casualties when the team leaves for AZ.
At worst, it might be game time.
I am choosing to ignore all rumors, and wait for facts as reported by Phillip.

Your rumor sounds legit but most classes I've taken require Attendance. More than 5 absences and you're withdrawn from the class.
