A rule that says you can not oversign will do no good. Saban would just run enough players off before signing day so he would have room for 25 new signees. The annual 25 limit has to be reduced. That will encourage teams to retain players to keep their roster at 85. The NCAA is talking about reducing the 85 limit which I think is crazy. If they do that, they better reduce the annual 25 limit substantially or saban's processing will get worse. And the more he is successful, the more you will see other coaches do it.
