I've been losing weight for around 8 months now and I've lost a little over thirty pounds.

  • I've lost 45 pounds since Sept. 1. Trying to drop the last 10 or so.

Congratulation sparkey hopefully I'll be able to say I've lost that much in a few months.

  • I have put on 10-15 lbs in the last year so I am in. Need motivation during the winter months. It helps to call me names like fatty fatty 2x4, etc. My core and legs (thighs) are my problem as is the case with most women. My legs are named Ann & Lois after my grandmother who was 4'11" and let's just say not the skinniest person. If Eve had had my thighs her leaves would have caught on fire. My core's name is LaQuisha and she really needs to tighten up. SO yeah, count me in and sorry if this was TMI. It's like therapy to lay it out there. flex

Bryan I don't how you have any to lose with all the running around you have to do. Also congrats that's a lot in a short amount of time.

I started dieting last week. Hoping the rain quits for long enough for me to do some cardio. Anyways I have cut roughly 80-90% of my carbs out and dropped soda's completely (so far) and started drinking about 5-6 cups of water a day and have lost almost 8 lbs with NO EXERCISE. I'm fairly active at work though with a good bit of lifting and moderate walking.
I'll list my diet if it can give you any idea's or you can give me any. I know they aren't actual meals but I'm cutting.

Meal 1: An apple on the way to work with a multi vitamin between 5:15 and 5:45AM

Meal 2: Cup of carrots and a glass of water. 8:00-8:10AM

Meal 3: Cup of grapes and a glass of water. 10:00-10:10AM

Meal 4(lunch): 8oz Seasoned chicken breast with a cup of corn/ any other veggie and a glass of water. 11:30-12PM

Meal 5: Another seasoned chicken breast with you guessed it a glass of water around. 5:00PM
Obviously this isn't going to be the same every day of every week but its a guideline that's working for me.

He lost me at...dropped soda's completely. I'd rather run 3 miles a day than give up my homemade cherry cokes.
