Just clicking around a little, noticed that the Aggies would have had the best recruiting class in the Big 12 this year by 13 points (over Oklahoma).
So what would have been the best class in the Big 12 by a decent margin, was the 5th best class in the SEC, 35 points behind the top SEC class.
Missouri would have had the 5th best class in the Big 12 this year...kind of middle of the pack. In the SEC, that was good for dead last, 14th.
Don't get me wrong, the Aggies still had a great, great class. Being 5th in the conference isn't a bad thing when the top five classes in the conference are also five of the top 10 in the whole nation. It just means that the Aggies would have had one of two great classes in the Big 12, but it's one of 6 or 7 great classes in the SEC.
On more of a personal note....I wish they were still playing Texas right now....it would be fun to watch them run up and down the field and beat the Longhorns by four+ touchdowns. The Texas to Texas A&M relationship is similar to the Alabama to Auburn relationship. Watching arrogance go down in flames never gets old, where ever it happens to take place.
