You have both spoken highly of Jimbo Fisher with Phillip even describing his possible hire at Auburn as a "home run". I have maintained that he is no better than an average coach. In 10 years as the offensive coordinator/QB coach at LSU and FSU, both schools that consistently recruit above average to superior athletes, he managed ONE year in which his scoring offense, total offense and QB passing all ranked in the top 25 in the country. He has lost 4 games each year as a head coach with great athletes in a mediocre conference. What do you see that makes you think he is above average? What am I missing?
