First of all if he fired BVG then IMO Chizik should be fired. BVG is one of the best coordinators in the game. Next year I expect BVG defense to be very stout. I'm not sure how I feel about Loeffler, but one thing is I believe is we should run the ball about 75% of the time. I think despite blakely's fumbles he's had he needs to be involved more. Since we can't see what goes on behind the scenes it's hard to know how much Chizik micro manages the coaches, play calling, and schemes but from what's been told it sounds like he is heavily involved, which I don't think should be the case. I believe it was Ron Sanders who posted the article comparing us with the gators and how similar we are in terms of personnel, coordinators, etc. Something isn't working with what we are doing right now. If Chizik gets fired though I hope whoever replaces him tries to retain BVG, Grimes, Luper, and Boulware. I hope the season improves, but firing both our coordinators at the end of the year is not what should be done.

No other OC or DC worth a flip will work for Chizik as hot as his seat will be if he survives this year. He will be very lucky to retain Van Gorder and I think Loeffler is getting a bad rap. Chizik is meddling too much in the offense and we do not have a SEC caliber QB until next year and he will be a freshman(JJ) if he keeps his commitment.
