You would think this would be a better option than playing at a place like Purdue who's BBall is probably a little better than their Football. Just from a maximizing opportunity point of view. Playing Football in the SEC and possibly being a standout on the BBall team as well should only give him that much more of a chance to move on to a professional career in one of the two sports.
Maybe I have it backwards and BBall is the path of least resistance, but with team sizes being much smaller and their being many many more college BBall programs it just doesn't seem to be that way.
