  • BM what our chances for a big recruiting year for 2013 or do we hope for a big season this year in wins and losses, and go after big time players for 2014.

I remember Cinn, took a suprise team to elite 8 in 89 or 90 (based on jucos, and some no names) and then the coach was able to take his recruiting national and built a powerhouse.

Or do we have a better chance to build like the Illini of the late 80s early 90s era when they were the Flying Illni by recruiting the best athletes in the 6'4-6'8 range. And hope that we find two supper players that grew up Auburn fans.

I think Auburn has the same potential for a "big" recruiting year in basketball in either 2013 or 2014. Not sure it will happen but the potential is there regardless of what happens this season. Most of the top 2013 prospects will sign in November so we'll see.
