Thank you Brent. I wonder about alot of these kids. Its one thing to be a nice and polite kid to talk to, but that doesn't really tell me anything about whether or not he will be able to handle the riggers of COLLEGE and football. Mentally. Its not like it gets easier.

I dont really care if thats Creedish or not. Nor do I think the world really cares either. He will find out really quick how sour the world can get when he leaves the nest. Being uneducated, by choice, is gonna make things a whole lot harder. Kids need to respect that fact long before they get to this level. Too bad the system is broken and that doesn't happen. Phillip's idea is to put a band-aid on it. I say it needs to be fixed from the ground up. Too bad the NCAA wont use their influence and money to help make that happen.

Perhaps I was a little hard on him in my first post although I was making an attempt at humor. However the thought still stands.

Actually no i'm not a military man. I'm a productive T-5 Paraplegic (chest down) who not only the knows the need for hard work to get right in life but also realizes the need for education when your path in life is narrow. That doesn't place me on any high horse or the top of any totem pole. I just better understand the value now. Its just too bad I didn't before it was almost too late. Something I think these kids need to be instilled with long before the idiocy takes hold. Athletes especially....
